Scott Stefanek

My name is Scott Stefanek, and I am your new Principal here at Innisfail Middle School. I couldn't be more excited to join you on this exciting middle school adventure. Many of us are stepping into something new and unknown, and that's where the magic happens.

At Innisfail Middle School, we're not just a school; we're a family. I’m confident that all of you, as members of the IMS family, will embrace our core values of pride in self, pride in others, and pride in the Innisfail community. I want you to also know that I am here for you, ready to support you, and eager to learn and grow alongside you. Together, we will make this year one to remember!

As we navigate this journey together, I encourage you to approach each day with curiosity, kindness, and a willingness to try new things. Whether it's exploring a new subject, joining a club, playing on a team, or making new friends, embrace every opportunity that comes your way.

Grades 5-8 are a time for growth, discovery, and transformation. It's a time to challenge yourself, to push beyond your comfort zone, and to discover the incredible potential that lies within each and every one of you.

As we launch into this new chapter this school year, remember that you are capable of achieving anything you set your mind to. Believe in yourself, support one another, and never underestimate the power of resilience, vulnerability, perseverance and determination.
