Lexi Kowalchuk

I am very excited to be joining the grade 6 team at Innisfail Middle School this year! I am a recent 2023 graduate from the collaborative middle years program at Red Deer Polytechnic, where I also played on the Queens soccer team! I spent my first year teaching at St. Lorenzo Ruiz middle school in Red Deer teaching a variety of different subjects and grades. 
I can't wait to join the IMS team and the Innisfail Community and I look forward to building strong relationships and fostering a welcoming and engaging classroom environment! 
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with friends and family and playing sports! One of my biggest passions is coaching, I have been a coach within the Renegades soccer program in Red Deer for the past 6 years and also enjoy coaching basketball, volleyball and rugby! I look forward to bringing my passion for coaching to IMS this year. 
I am eager to join the Innisfail community and look forward to a great school year!
